Tia Yang Ly is a first-generation Hmong-American woman, born in the refugee camps of Thailand. Her family immigrated to the United States in the mid-1980s, bringing with them a deep sense of resilience and community.
Today, Tia lives in the Midwest with her husband and their three wonderful children.
Tia has been serving individuals on the autism spectrum since 2006. She holds a Master of Arts in Psychology and has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2018. Her clinical experience spans both inpatient and outpatient settings, working with clients ranging in age from 18 months to 65 years.
Tia is committed to delivering compassionate and culturally responsive care to the communities she serves. She is a strong advocate for assent-based treatment and is dedicated to shaping the next generation of clinicians through collaborative mentorship and values-driven practice.
